Witchingly Bootiful!

For a Halloween birthday. She was torn between getting the witch cake she wanted and having a beautiful (traditional) cake. I found this stained glass pattern and kept the colours traditional but made them softer. I carved this out of two sheet cakes: the top half is white cake, and the bottom half is chocolate.

Happy Father's Day!

A fondant and buttercream shirt cake for a Brave's fan. It was done in my most popular flavour combination: white almond cake with raspberry filling.

Butterfly Baby Shower

My client brought in a napkin for me that matched the baby shower decorations. She told my husband that she had gone to a supermarket bakery, but they turned her down. I was so glad I could do this cake for her!

The cake is buttercream and the butterflies, flowers, and lettering are fondant.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I did a Thanksgiving cake this year for Perry's work potluck. I've been wanting to do this cake for a while, and I modified it from the 3D chocolate cornucopia with marzipan veggies on top to just a frosting one.
I was looking for a picture of Mr. Lunt without his hat, but trust me- throw a gold tooth on my little guy here and you've got him.

Let It Snow

Trees made out of sugar cones and frosting kids top this cake.

Boooooo!

I love doing holiday cakes- you can really let your playful side show.

Happy Easter

This was for a class party. I had seen this cake using a shaped pan, but since I didn't have the pan, I used the idea as a template.
